As my husband will tell you, I am a little obsessed
with details when it comes to photography. When
we were picking our wedding photographer, I had
a 3 page list of questions and criteria. To me, the
photographer was one of the most important
wedding decisions we could make. After interviewing
and seeing the work of several photographers, we
decided on Diane, and we are so glad that we did.

We wanted a mix of color and black and white, as well
as traditional, candid, and artsy. Diane did a wonderful
mix of all that. At Diane's suggestion, we hired a second
photographer, her colleague Jennifer Woodman, to shoot
photos on the day of the wedding. Diane and Jennifer
were very calm and light-hearted and made both of our
families feel comfortable and at ease. Diane also was
quite prepared for our wedding day. When the battery
died in the '57 Cadillac that was to carry us to the
reception, Diane had a self contained battery jumper
in her car. The one problem that happened on our
wedding day was quickly resolved!

We had to plan our wedding from out of town. Diane
was wonderful with communicating with us through
phone and email and being flexible in meeting with us
on the few weekends that we were in Detroit for
wedding planning.

We were extremely happy with all the photos we received.
Because we loved so many, we ended up with a fairly large
album. Diane also was great to work with through the proof
selection and album process.

We would highly recommend Diane to anyone looking for a
friendly, relaxed, and talented wedding photographer. We think
of Diane as our friend and hope that we can hire her again soon
for pregnancy and baby photos now that we are expecting!
